So 10% is the new 100%. What real difference does it make whether the number is 10 or 100? The old "system" was ****, just repetitive no-brains grind that only autistic people can enjoy (spamming coal and doing hundreds of harvests and replantings was all there was to it). If there's not going to be a proper purity system implemented, I'd rather they give the game a decent burial than torture it's corpse.

game is in the state it is in because they ridiculously listened to people like you that never had any clue how it worked to begin with yet were never short of "great" suggestions, there were about 1000 people that liked the old system better than this one, whether you are among them or not does not much matter at the end of the day.

What system? There wasn't one. And it's not exactly rocket science to figure out that you need to just replant the best seeds a hundred times over. I did it with cereals, couldn't be arsed to do it with the other crops because I'm not autistic.

And no, there were never a thousand players unless you count the ones that just checked the game for a couple of days and decided it's not their cup of tea. And they only checked it due to false advertising.

Sometimes going backward is the only way to go forward. They laid the tracks now they just got to back it up a bit.

the way to push salem forward IS by going backward since that is when the game was fun and still had 1100 people playing it 2 months after new servers opened instead of 100 like now.

the games population is already right back where it was with at least half of the playerbase being the same circle of players that are mostly playing for the sake of ***** on someone from a past rivalry. the game will not survive another wipe so simply hitting the reset button to drum up hype when they ad another type of spider again will not cut it, problem is that the longer they ignore the problems the more difficult it will be to recover later as even with a "miracle patch" people are not going to keep returning after endless ***** and abandonments.

I do agree that patch that made purity depends on worms and trees was stupid, but current gluttony and inspirational mechanic is better than before.

1. What if trees purity would jump faster? We would be able to get 100% faster.

2. Passive defences sucks, BB drain on claims is fine, but braziers are stupid and I am not talking about current dmg, but the entire brazier mechanic, you just can't find the right values to slow raiders long enough to give owner time to login and not doing devastating dmg that would kill raiding (like right now?).

Instead I would add system that allows you to raid only when town owners are online, so let town owners to pick when does raid begins.
It should make situations when PvP is key to everything, so having high biles, good armor and combat experience would be priority.
People should rethink into what invest their time in game to not get raided and killed.
While their towns and pclaim should be hard to wipe from buildings and farms like right now or even harder.

3. More dynamic character development should help... average time from 5 to 100 biles should be 1 week, at same time find a way to block titans above 150.
If timers on food would depends on your max biles it would be possible!
For 5 biles newbie food timers could be few times lower, but more biles he have timers should grow,
for example 5 biles character got 10 minutes timer on pumpkin pie, while 100 biles char 1 hour or even larger timer for same food.
People would stop doing tons of alts and would focus on one or two characters, because there would be a way to recover very fast, if you have developed town with lots of farms.
