An update.

I had locked the topic for a few hours while investigating the situation. My findings were that the picture submitted by shizuka was definitely unique from the LoL picture, so barring further evidence, I couldn't justify disqualifying it. However, I was them bombarded with the very evidence which would ultimately spell the elimination of her entry.

This is, clearly, the image used and retouched digitally to give it a different look. I am no copyright lawyer, but I do believe the image is not the intellectual property of shizuka in that she cannot grant permission for its use. As such it is removed from consideration.

aside from copyright issues, I thought the usual competition salemite guidelines applied, in that every entry should have been made specifically for the competition?

Unfortunately I forgot to add the word "original" to the first rule as in the first entry. It is a mistake I will do my best to make sure I do not repeat.
