A note on the little poetic phrase: please reference ingame examples. All of the phrases are custom, not quotes from existing authors. They are also not very long, a dozen or so words. You are welcome to edit your entry as you may not have realized this, but please try to keep things consistent with the style of the game, otherwise I'll have to fill in the blanks if the winner has something about it that isn't quite right.

1) Item name: Cinnamon Candied Apple
2) Description of what it looks like (icon) An apple with a small stick coming out of it.
3) Cute little poem phrase for item

Dripping and sticking, chompers are licking for shinny sweat spiced treat.

4) Information on how to find/make item

1 Sharpened stick
1 Apple
1 Molasses

5) Item proficiency values

5x uses

2500 Stocks & Cultivars
3500 Herbs & Sprouts

Inspirationals you can eat are something I try to avoid considering. That being said, this sounds like a nice food addition for when/if we revisit foods, or as something to give away for holidays. Good job. B+ as inspirational, A+ as food

1) Item name -- Skeleton Necklace
2) Description of what it looks like (icon) A Skeleton hanging
3) Cute little poem phrase for item
"a whisper in the night from the ghost of halloween"
4) Information on how to find/make item

5 Bone beadwork
1 Whispering Snake Skull
1 Blistersteel bar
10 Bones

5) Item proficiency values

25 uses

2,500 Arts and crafts
2,000 Flora and fauna
5,000 hunting and hideworking
3,000 thread and needle
1,000 perreniol philosophy

Inspiration Required

13,500

At first I thought this wasn't a good idea. But the more I think about it, the more I'm ok with it. The huge cost of the snakeskull AND blistersteel bar justifies the enormous use-count, which itself is offset by the large inspiration cost (making it the rough equivalent to something like the malevolent pillow). Maybe 15 or 20 use. The phrase needs a little work, but otherwise I can see this ingame. A-

Here goes (I have no time to read through the entire thread but I may as well give it a shot).
I am, as some of you know, Belgian and as such this has to be belgian-inspired with a bit of the oktoberfest in there too.
FYI, based on this.

1) Item name: Coachman's Liberator

2) Description of what it looks like (icon). Much as in the linked image: a beer glass that cannot stand on any end and can only be kept in-hand. Since we have no beer in-game, we can hardly have it filled with anything, but I guess that plays into the poem nicely. (background: it has that shape anecdotically for two reasons. 1) it made it hard to spill from when hung from such a wooden suspender off a cart, and would keep the glass from breaking on jolts. 2) the coachmen had to drink very carefully: if you drink the fast, a bubble of air will suddenly manage to get in the lower sphere while drinking and all the beer will slosh over you.)

3) Cute little poem phrase for item

Beat all doubts and let them pass,
and cheer and sing and lift your glass!
Dull your qualms and rinse your fear,
and drink and laugh and have a beer!

4) Information on how to find/make item:

crafted from a glass pane.

5) Item proficiency values:

I guess it can be pretty nice, what with glass panes not being that easy to come by and somewhat of a pain to grind.
So, here goes:

Uses: 3
Faith and Wisdom: 100
Sugar and Spice: 1500
Natural Philosophy: 2600
Perennial Philosophy: 610

I can see this being added when we get beer into the game :) Good job though, looks balanced and well thought out. A

Oh my, it's like a lemon mated with a gourd! As interesting as this fruit is, given its distinct origins in the middle east as opposed to colonial america, I don't think it's a good fit. C

The OCD JC in me says if we have Porcupine quills, we need Porcupines. But ignoring that side of what he's done to my otherwise normal and well-adjusted personality, I like this and think it's a good idea. Too many uses though. A-
