Returning Player LF Town or Expedition Group

I am just returning to this game after about a year. I have been mostly a hermit for the entire time I've played this game but with the new features and expeditions coming I would love to join a group. I am in the PST (UTC -8) timezone and have plenty of time to play. I really enjoy the farming and cooking aspect but also want to try the new mining. I'm looking forward to experiencing a new part of this game.
