New Player

[Unrespected]

Hello everyone

I'm new to the game and was wondering what to do now, I'd like to join any town or perhaps just one other person.
Hopefully someone would be willing to 'show me the ropes', so far I've only been playing for a day.
I've seen other camps near me but no players to go with them and tbh it feels kind of lonely.

My time zone is GMT+2 if that's of any use.
Also could anyone tell me how to find others?

Personally I would be a hermit first. You learn a lot about the game just leveling things up on your own. In a town a lot of times people will just give you things you need and then you are not sure how to get them for yourself.

BTW be careful of just running up to near by claims and talking to people. If a base is really large chances are they will not want to work with you and would just assume kill you. I learned this the hard way starting out. Had one visitor who was a nice guy and just wanted to trade for himself for a moment. Then had another who did not even talk to me just beat me senseless took the stuff I dropped and then left. So be careful of those friendly neighbors not all of them are MR. Rogers.
