If you lost a tool on the ground today, and if you can tell me what this tool was I can give it back.

I lost my Bugcatcher's Net while I was hunting butterflies, in particular I was after a rare Rosy Maple Moth, but I stepped in to a tuft of grass and a snake slithered and I was so startled that I scurried away. I ran as long as my breath permitted me to and when I was exhausted and out of breath I remembered that in hurry I dropped it and lost the thing. May-haps you stumbled upon it? It is made out of birch, it is polished and white and has ‘’M’’ carved on it.
