Sir Fillingsworth's Deforesting Co. [CLOSED]

Postby SirFillingsworth » Mon Jul 31, 2017 12:07 am

Hey, everyone! So, I'm broke. So sad, I know, but I've spent most of my silver on the materials that I need for my upcoming book.

Anywho, so I don't get off-topic, let's skip right to the sales pitch. Do you need more space? Is your town not flourishing due to trees and rocks? Well, for the right price, I've got a solution for you. For just 0.5 silver per square of land, I will deforest it and remove all the rocks in that area. Just PM me here on the forums when you would like to meet in town (I live in EST) to give me a New World Survey to the location that you would like for me to deforest, and depending on the size of the job, I could have it done within one to four days! And here's two amazing aspects of this service: the first is that you get to keep all the lumber! The second, and perhaps greatest aspect, is that I don't even need access to your base! I only cover the SURROUNDING areas, so there is no need to worry about anything being stolen from your town, or any claim for that matter.

I know that I've covered pricing once already, but for a limited time only, I'll cut everyone a deal. You can choose from two different payment plans:

-- Pay per square of land, for 0.5 silver per square, or,
-- Pay per tree, at 1 silver per tree.

This is a great opportunity get a diversified economy into Salem, so not only are you getting chores done faster, you're also helping the game out. If business gets booming, I may even hire some employees, with a cut of their take, of course (Yes, it sounds cruel, but it could be a great way for a noob to earn some money).

Also, if/when you decide to hire me, please make sure you leave a review if I did a good job, or even if it wasn't exactly up to your standards. It helps other people know whether I'm trustworthy as a service, and it helps me know what I need to work on. So long, everyone! I anticipate some business in the near future.

P.S. Also, let me know beforehand how many tiles/trees I'll be chopping, so we can set up payment correctly. If you want the wood from destroyed tree stumps, let me know. I'll leave it in the spot at which it was generated ( where the stump was destroyed).

EDIT: Closed to player disinterest as well as real life problems.

Unfortunately, no. I don't have that skill in-game yet, but once I do it's definitely an option.

I may charge more for that, as it requires a lot more time, but sure. If you need some ground leveled, then I'll do it for you. How about 5 silver per cubic tile?

That was something I really considered. I figured I'd go for it anyways, though. That's why I mentioned that I wouldn't require access to anyone's base. That way they make sure that nothing got stolen from them.

Well, that is an odd question. In real life, I'm a bit chubby (5'9'', 240 lbs) and I really like custard filled doughnuts. So, the "Filling" part of Fillingsworth comes from my love of said doughnuts (even though they'll be the death of me). Then I just add the prefix "Sir" and suffix "worth" to my name because I wanted to sound fancy, but mildly ironic at the same time. I hope that was a good answer lol :)

Having to give a "stranger" a survey to a base area is enough to keep people from buying your services i'm afraid.

the problem is....because you will have access to near a base....is just enough for people to not buy services cause it could lead others then no more base for something as simple as wanting tree's removed
