Maxwell's Marvellous Merchandise

Postby greggbot » Fri May 22, 2015 8:31 am

Hello there! After dying and then starting a new character, I've decided to start making paper to sell to would be authors. I'm also selling any squids that show up in my traps.

paper - 50s

babysquid - 150s (2 in stock)

All prices are totally negotiable, and if you can find a better offer, I'll match it. I'm currently set up to make 30 paper at a time with more hopefully coming soon. Larger orders may take a while but I have no problem taking them if you're willing to wait. Contact me by PM to place an order.

Also, if you've already made a book, and I've read and enjoyed it, you can receive free, yes, FREE paper! And also in the future, a discount on ink! This is part of a program to encourage people to write books. I figure if I reduce the material cost significantly, people will be more inclined to write more and longer books.

You know you are low balling yourself hardcore right? You are the only person selling paper. You could be selling it at around 300s and people would buy it.

Considering how easy it is to make paper I believe he is in the right price range.

Perhaps if he wasn't the only one selling it then maybe if people were dumb enough to lower the price this low. It's like all the idiots who sell pig iron for less then 70s. I don't know why people in this game have no sense of the market.

Lot of people won't buy unless they feel confident the time it takes them to gather as much silver is less than the time it takes to make the item they want. Some people would buy items for much higher but it reduces your client pool by quite a bit. So in the end it's all about wether you want to 5-6 items for 80s/u or 20-30 items for twice as low.

I sell around 10 bars of iron a day for 60s in my stall, it use to be 80 before idiots didn't know how to keep a market. It would take a person twice as long making steel to match what I make. I have been buying all the low iron and making even more from that. These people don't know how bad they are hurting themselves and the market. It's good for me I guess since I take advantage of it but it shouldn't be like that.

You're just mad that the economy is fluctuating? To be honest iron is very easy to mass produce. 40s/u seems like a decent price.
