I met sky months ago and have come to recognise him as a genuinely nice, honest guy.

I wouldn't hesitate to hand him leeches full of any of my character's blood, because he is trustworthy and clearly doesn't know **** about witchcraft anyway.

In the harsh world of salem where so many people are always doing mean things to others for fun and profits, it pleases me greatly to see someone taking pleasure in just helping others out like this. He's helped me out many times when i was too lazy to port medicine to my alts.

Shame on those people who are trying to ruin a nice thing like this!

nothing is ever "free" and the same holds true in salem, sky has been collecting/draining your leeches and labeling the buckets with keys from all of you for months. the leech is probably the first thing he tries so it gets an extra few ticks in while he is "trying to figure out your symptoms" as the more blood he gets out of you the more and better curses he can make.

don't forget to hand the leech over so he can "reuse it" when he asks!

Okay, I don't like to get involved in questions of scamming as I don't have access to any knowledge that would allow me to take sides fairly. It would only be my opinion being stated. However, since it looks like this debate is never going to end, I'm going to step in briefly.

As Kralith says, this debate is very period appropriate; witchcraft and herbalism have often been confused, and that is one reason I've allowed this to go on. So, is it possible for a player to be harmed by a witch by accepting Sky_Cardis' help? Yes, in theory it is. Is there any evidence that such has ever happened? I haven't seen any so far in this or any thread. Personally, I hope he is just patiently waiting for the right opportunity to trigger a witchy apocalypse, but that's just me. Either way, trading with other players in Salem is always buyer (and seller) beware and it always will be. This is just another example of that.

For now, I think the possibility of treachery has been very thoroughly pointed out and as I have done with other trade threads where the debate goes on forever, I will start removing any further posts on the subject for awhile.

Yes you can lie about the reputation of others in Trade Threads. At no point is it the developers responsibility to play 'lie detector' the mere idea and notion of this is silly and stupid.
