Well, I mean, he did get the valuable information that a stranger is very unlikely to sell you a Simple Bonnet for 2500s, from what I've seen.

Also, there's at least one person with a standing offer of twice that price.

The guy might be waiting for a long time if he doesn't up the price or try to get friendly with someone.

For example, I used to sell Rarefied Flowers all the time, but then Chivas started buying them for more than everyone else, and I haven't sold any through the forums in months. If someone wanted Rarefied Flowers from me, they'd have to either be a friend of mine or offer more than Chivas.

There is a different between someone not meeting your price then moving on and you posting like a ******* being ass mad about it.

Oh but that was purely my intention, I woud've paid 2,5k silver to insult him on the forums with a legitimate reason, as that would be the case in many cases without reasoning.

The karma always hits me, when I am willing to sell a bonnet for lets say 3500-4000s to help the guy out, I get some unwilling guy who doesn't even want to give out a penny. The whole community tries to lowball people in trade and I am quite sick of that, its probaly something American to always try to negoitate a better deal.

We are trading pixels for pixels in a really tiny community, so there is no "the right" price for anything, things cost as much as the point where sellers and buyers expectations meet at this very moment stands.

Well, I see your point, but no one is going to sell a stranger an item for 2500 when another stranger has a standing offer of 5000.

If I were trying to buy something with almost no chance of actually getting it, I would want to be told what I need to aim for, rather than just sit around and twiddle my thumbs.

That does fit my point, for this very moment the guy who's paying more sets the price, but once he has his bonnet price may or may not drop again.

no one told me the "correct" price he told me to make him an offer and i did, the way buying and selling works is i say one price you say another and that goes on until we find a common ground, i would of paid him higher, if he actually told me the price i need to meet instead he starts acting like im trying to pull a fast one, come on i'm not trying to cheat anyone off their precious pixels. i changed the wording because the first statement wasn't correct

You are the reason this community blows. I can only assume a county bumpkin such as yourself has no sense of monetary value outside of trading turnips

rly guys, such a drama about price offered by someone?

he'd like to give 2500, juda wants more, no deal has been made - end of story

i don't see the point to call juda "the reason this community blows" anyway.

anyway, folks posting here are right. Price is dictated by offers. If someone buys bonnets for 5k, don't expect that anyone would like to give it to you for half price. But maybe he'll find someone, who - for example - hate that "5k offering guy", and also wants to sell bonet. What happens then? bonnet is worth as much, as best 2nd offer he'll get. maybe this offer would be 2,5k.
