Tribe is even honorable enough to give 1v1 opportunities instead of zerging you down.
I would love to try it someday.

You talk like making a few frikadels is a big deal that only Veterans can do
>Defense of battery scents
Just spar inside your ***** village, If they breach your walls just to get some battery scents you're ***** anyways
>Manpower
Having no friends isn't really related to this either. You cant blame anyone for that except yourself

nonsonogiucas wrote:I think that a great deal about character disparity stems from 2 facts

1) You have 4 biles but in reality it is just level.
You can raise the biles all at the same time and there is no point in not doing so. The consequence is that every character ends up having:

a surrogate of a level = bile level
(blood) > hit-points = (that scales linearly with) = level
(yellow) > dps = (that scales linearly with) = level
(phlegm) > stamina = (that scales linearly with) = level
(black) > passive resistance = (that scales linearly with) = level

2) There is no way that a higher level character will ever be caught off guard or unprepared (out of his armor or spaceship, to use other games examples) because you always have something like embedded armor and weapon.

There is thus no point in elaborating strategies like surprise attacks... for there is no "unprepared" state to be in.

So the problem is not that some players are too powerful, but that the only thing you can really do about it is trying to get to a similar level yourself... which brings back the game to a place where most MMORPGS we despise are...

1) Their are benefits for not raising all your humours at the same time, it allows you to make specialist character. There are lots of character that don't need all the humours as high as possible and therefor can benefit greatly from ignoring one or more of them.
2) There are lots of ways to catch a higher humour character off guard or unprepared mentally or physically(in game) or even just without their group.
Having lager numbers is a huge advantage in Salem especially if they are experienced with fighting together.
Specialized gear is a huge benefit to most tasks you preform in Salem, especially combat, being caught out side without PvP gear against those that are properly equipped leaves you at a large disadvantage even if you have higher humours. And pocket/civ/hunting gear make non-PvP tasks so much more efficient that you would have to be a fool not to use them.
You can also gather information about a target to give you an even greater advantage, if you hit them shortly before they normally log off and they are tired or don't want to be in game they are more likely to make a mistake giving you an edge. Hell, some of us have real life responsibilities, on Jamestown I knew a guy that logged in for 15-20 mins every morning before he went to work and went foraging with a fairly high level(for the server) main, all anyone would have had to do to kill him is to engage him and prevent him from getting back into his town for long enough that he had to leave for work.
You should play more so you are not making statements about stuff you know nothing about.
