Let me start by saying I have invested more time in this game than I have in a game in a very long time. Playing as a hermit and lurking in the forums every day for months with humors in the low 90's I was confident that not many could take me on.

Today seemed like a good day for a boat trip. I set off farther than I have every gone from home. I stumbled on to an abandoned claim or at least I thought so. I have not seen anyone outside of Boston in over a month so I took my time going through all the boxes of goodies left from the former owner. Then all of a sudden out of no where I see the red square on my mini map. He comes running into the claim where I am. Panicking and my inventory full of goodies ( didn't think I had time to drop and port ) I made a crucial mistake by not logging off right then. He came strait at me and landed the first strike taking 20 blood. I struck back at him damaging him around 11 blood. I few more hits from him and it was over. I was dead.


I am very butt hurt right now, but I have a question about scents. Would there be any in this case and how would I collect it if so.

You were attacked and killed, of course there are scents. To collect them though you'll have to go back to where you were killed. Or find the location on the map and direct someone else there. Kind of confused how can you get a 90 bile character and not know this already though? Indian Tracking.
