Town charter, metal weapons and tools, important late game skills, expanding claims with silver, it's all for sell if you're willing to put the money... judging by how Chief hire porn actresses to make a Tribe video, you can bet he also bought everything he needed... add to that the little campaign he makes on forums and the majority of players will just give up before starting... also, bots...

I saved up 3 months of unemployment checks to afford that video. And as such had very little left for when the server dropped. Everything I have was a result of hard work in-game and dedication.

Just lol.

The tribe has claimed 90% of the map yet is unable to enforce that claim. They are impotent, powerless.

They have a fancy base, but so do others, and those others didn't pay for their silver.

The new gluttony system only prolongs the tribes agony. Without it they would already be scrabbling amongst the rubble of one of their raided settlements, just like last world. If there's no new server to lure the stronger factions away, my bet is the tribe will just be what it was in the early days of Plymouth.

Loudmouthed, obnoxious and a threat only to noobs (and their own alts).

"Hard work" can be cut by a large if you get these:
Prospector Pack: Dowsing Rods, Pickaxe, Prospector's Diploma( Mining, Prospecting, Survival Skills)

Adventurer Pack: Backpack, Metal Axe, Writ of Homesteading, Pioneering Diploma(Lore of the Lumberwoods, Settling)

Redcoat Pack: Spanish Sabre, Redcoat's Musket, Redcoat's Diploma(Self-Defense, Fencing, Firearms)

Adventurer Pack: Fencing, Small Game Hunting, rapier

Founding Father Pack: Compacts & Constitutions, Settling, Survival Skills, 1 Town Charter

Silver Packs: expand your claims and buy whatever else you need from NPCs

I understand there's still work to be done, but saying these are not huge advantages is wishful thinking... these are not just skins for sell, these are core resources of the game

A hell lot of veterans had silver from start either from previous purchases or from claim refund.

1-2 days you can't barely scratch the skills due to inspirational points and waiting around... imagine pickaxe, metal axe, dowsing rods, spanish sabre, town charter, along with all the diplomas to learn the required skills...

well it must be nice to have a little game all to yourselves, but if it wants to be something more it needs to find other ways to pay the bills... or at least warn players that "play for free" has some serious implications... that is, you're a sub-citizen of the playerbase
