Tips on avoiding the Tribe

Or any other faction/guy...

1. Never teleport from Providence to home. You can easily be tracked down if you do so. What you need is to find a safe location (no people around or enter a building) log off there, log back in and than teleporte home.
2. Don't trade with tribe (or whom ever you are looking to avoid) the goods they sell can be scented and used to track you down (same goes for random stuff laying on ground).
3. There's no need to flatten all of the ground though we all do need to make some ground flat try to keep any digging to a minimal.
4. Don't pave it can be seen from a moon.

This will minimize the chance they will find your base right away. Since there are ongoing mapping projects your base will probably be found sooner or later but you should be able to erect some basic defense.

Also important to note that you will eventually be found and if you are a criminal and have not signed the Treaty the you will be killed and your base will be destroyed. You could put in all this effort "Hiding" or you could simply sign the treaty and not be a criminal.

Doomed in what sense? Every Active Treaty Payer of the previous age had a safe and prosperous life.

If you want to make a thread that will help treaty signers please do and I might comment about it there. This one is not meant for them.

Then you should post picks of your base including the minimap in the forums. also it would be helpful to include global map with the location of your base in it.

Oh, and sign the treaty.

I am not sure if its a bug or intended content but you can be followed from Providence. I am not going to go to details but a lot of people actually knows about it including the developers.

It's a form of bug abuse. The tribe used it extensively on Plymouth. You open the follow window and when someone has teleported home u click follow. You start walking towards their homestead.

There were a couple of other methods, some of which were fixed, others may not have been.
