Greetings Filthy Squatters of Salem,
Welcome to Providence and I hope you have enjoyed our new lands as much as we have enjoyed sharing them with you. Some of you may recall the mention of Burial grounds, the sacred resting place of the Braves from The First Age. You may also recall that we asked you all to spend the first few days advancing your character to wait until we release maps and information on such a place and today is that day so we appreciate your patience.

What some of you may not know is Loftar, The Greater Spirit, gave us access to the new world prior to letting Jorb know about it. It was a bold move but we thank him for it. Instead of using this time to advance our characters and gain an unfair advantage over the others we instead took on a HUGE digging accomplishment that many of you have already seen and commented on.

While I would like to say that we were responsible for the ENTIRE lifting of the cliff it was The Greater Spirit himself who assisted in our task and rose our bodies above the rest of the world. What seems like a simple developer tool turns out to be much more wild than that. The Evil Jorb caught Loftar assisting us and demanded that those who care the most about his game shall receive the least. Loftar himself disagreed, proclaiming that he was hungry, and citing the lucrative nature of the store if Jorb stopped ***** on his player base. This caused a clash of the Titans and Loftar/Jorb than began to wrestle. Loftar primarily wrestling to get free. Jorb "pretending" to wrestle while obviously trying to cop a feel. It was in the heat of this fight that Jorb tore a small piece of Flannel Fragment from the Sacred Shirt of the Flannel'd One. As it struck the ground an Earthquake erupted, the entire server rumbled and in an instant the ground rose much higher than any ever intended or imagined. This is the birth of what shall forever be known as "The Jorb Fault". JF For Short.

For those of you who have not yet witnessed the event we have taken one of your pitiful and embarrassing mapping projects and marked it up for easy reference. Do not settle west of the JF. Only Settle east of the JF.

The Map that shows Treaty Signers do indeed have access to 75% of the map.

While it may not look like much there is MORE than enough room in the blue for all new Pilgrims to settle. This also will create a nice metropolis along the eastern seaboard and allow for easy trading and boating along the ocean between the good-standing citizens of Providence. We appreciate your cooperation in the matter and expect full compliance of these regulations by the 1 week anniversary of the server.

Cliff Notes:
Do not settle in the red or you will be killed.
Settling in the Blue and signing the Treaty will result in a much happier Salem Experience

The 'Cliffs of Insanity' or 'Jorb's Fault' as you like to call it only starts just NW of Roanoke and it doesn't extend all the way to the N border completely. You might want to map it before making such a bold proclamation. It is an impressive geological occurrence, I'll give you that. Darwoth's Tears are almost directly in the middle of the 'Cliffs' or 'Fault' and are a true wonder of the world. A better thing to have done would be require all settlers to settle behind the line of the Cliffs to deny them all ocean fishing rights.

...but I see what you did here. All new players and peaceful farmers may settle before the N/S line of the cliffs in safety with no fear of harassment from the tribe. You should make it so that they don't even have to sign the treaty in front of the cliffs. That would be nice of you.

I thought you said that MOST of the map will be available...

... meaning the majority.

As always the Claegue infected individual has no clue what he is talking about. The JF extends far south as well. While it is true you may find breaks and/or ways to trespass over the fault line that TeePee Graphic clearly shows the boundary and so does the color coding. We will not be convinced of your innocence with some clever way to get across it nor do we care if you dig it down in an attempt to claim it never existed. The JF is known by my people and any found west of it would be punished accordingly.

As for denying settlers of ocean fish, that sounds just rude and mean. We wish all the best of success and believe that the recipes available by ocean fish are the most powerful (and are what we are using to get into the 70's now particularly the reef shark). We want everybody who is a valid citizen to have those same opportunities.

The Blue was "most" ~75% of the map when we were first given access. Then during the Earthquake the "western" wall got pushed significantly further. As the wall is titled any discontent with the policy and/or the creation of said ridge should be taken up directly with Jorb.

This may be true, but you must ask yourself. Does a beaver care about a single twig when he has the capable of building so many dams so quickly?
