the gluttony changes are just laughable beyond description, it already took months to build a few hundred stat character under the old system, under this system it would take far longer if it is even possible at all (can only ever eat an inventory of food every 4 or 5 hours or so, this works out to 3 - 4 stat points at lower stats, 1 at higher stats)
again, this new system is made to make people stay at newb levels for as long as possible so that people chase the carrot for longer. it is like the trick in all of those **** games where they ad "new content" by ninja patching it so you run half as fast in order to not discover their entire half assedly created world before your free month expires.
the "new map generation" is what i expected, nothing actually ***** useful or interesting like caves, new terraforming options, water building etc, instead the only thing different is sometimes rivers connect to lakes now instead of stopping 20 feet in front of them, whats worse is that all of the biomes are now smaller than they were before and randomly ***** everywhere like a quilt wearing someones lunch, which means you get to go mindlessly drag your ass around the world even more to do your already annoying foraging.
basically the entire game was gutted to make it so everything takes ten fold longer to do (in terms of TIME not effort, which is even worse) and that the 40 iq morons that were to ***** incompetent/stupid to build more than one brazier or level more than 2 or 3 fields after 6 months now do not need to while at the same time handing over yet MORE advantage to zergs of *****. because you know EVERYTHING in game was not already 10 fold easier in a group than without.
game is easy to play now of course, log on for a few hours every couple of days. trouble is i am not finding any good reason TO log on after this patch. i do not want to play a piece of trash like eve, which is what the game is now. just like haven.
