So I've been playing about half a year ago on Providence. Got a decent settlement for my self but than I got robbed and ragequit.
Now a lot of months later I'm kind of picking up where I left off. My settlement is pretty much destroyed but I still got skills and am located in a decent place.

This time arround I would like to avoid getting robbed.

So is there some community I could join, some top dog gang I could pay some silver each month and be safe from danger or something like that?

Also I don't have aversion for some trading and general interaction.

Is this the beginning of a new treaty?

I think Juda tries to enforce some Tithe for limited protection (they might not kill you in the open).

I had 1 torchpost
But now I plan to have as much as possible. But before I set that up I might get robbed again and will probably loose the will to play again.

torchposts are considerably hard to destroy, especially if they are protected by walls. who would think so right?
also protect your claim in a different area surrounded by braziers and torchposts, the harder you invest in higher walls the sooner you reach a point where it's almost impossible to raid.

It's now much harder to rob people on Providence than a year ago. Just build some walls and some braziers and you should be safe unless you start annoying people.

Just because I am having a break, which I do still enjoy very much does not mean that anything has happened.

We indeed were working on a Tithe concept, never fully implemented yet.
