Is there a client that shows progress of Timber piles?

Postby Clianedict » Tue Jan 20, 2015 7:08 pm

Someone keeps snatching mine at a rate more perfect than my alarm - I literally set up a ***** alarm to get there the moment they are done and they are already gone.
Someone has an alt next to my base and he steals everything that isn't bolted down or happens to be outside of the claim for a moment. Is there anything I can do about the person? I don't wanna put a claim around every little thing :\

So why not set the alarm a moment before they are done?

You can now put a claim and not put upkeep silver in it. It will still be protected and the thief will have to leave scents.
Though I guess your alarms aren't perfect. Since it isn't really possible to steal anything if you wait there just before the boards are ready.

are you sure that it's not decay? Things that are standing off-claim will take damage and be destroyed intermittently, and timber piles are notorious for sometimes disappearing before they are done.

The alarm for timber piles is 133 hours, and I find it hard to believe that someone would consistently manage to beat you to the piles before you can harvest them.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Put down a claim over every little thing.

Alright, it is a costly solution but I guess I have to claim it up too... *sigh*

Yes, the ***** has a leanto with an alt next to my base - I walled him off but he either made a new alt or tp'd to Boston and walked over and made a new leanto. How I know its him? His inventory was filled with dry planks. I don't wanna get larceny scent all over him because these are my planks and he somehow keeps sniping them.
