...and who exactly was the offending party?

This absolutely applies to the situation. You were able to waste/destroy a bell with 461 silver in it. It's been a problem for a long time with Tbell mechanics.

I like the idea of trial village members.

I am pulling my hair out every time I try to read a post by Claeyt. Why don't you take a hint and just talk to someone in the game that has facts instead of always posting things that aren't even true. If not ban him, make it to where he can only post one sentence replies.

I have talked to everyone involved except Darwoth and it seems like no one really knew what happened at the time and that Darwoth is trolling Suff and Yasso with his photoshopped church shot. I have learned that 'Permlord' was not a member of World's end or at least was not known to several of the people. If that was a shot of the townmember list of 'World's End' that Darwoth originally posted and then removed then he may have been given citizenship and we should be looking at who had the permissions to give citizenship or maybe they just opened the door after draining the bell for him so he could Townbell over them.

Personally I think Darwoth might be just trolling Yasso and Suff here and may have had a spy. The Church shot is clearly photo-shopped. If the townbell member list screen shot that Darwoth has since pulled off the OP is real than Darwoth had a spy in town that he knew as 'Permlord'. There may have been a spy in the town so I'm wondering who's still alive from the town.

That he pulled the Permlord shot is very interesting.

Also who is this 'Farming Freddy' that Darwoth is chatting with in the screen shot with the chat's in it? he's not shown in the kill shot lineup. Is he one of the unnamed dead guys?

You also really, really need to get rid of the party/waste mechanics. A non-town member should never get Waste permissions simply from just partying up with a noob or spy townmember. It makes no sense and is completely game breaking.

Nope. If a Mayor promotes a Trial Village Members to Full Citizen, then he get whatever is coming to them from whoever that citizen is truly affiliated with. You will now have the tools to stop these issues. If it is human stupidity alone that results in the town falling, then I have no intention to try to design around it. To make it clear. Trial Members cannot party other people for full perms. Only Full citizens can. Don't full Citizen somebody you do not trust. Simple as that.

Even if you tried really, really hard you would not be able to prevent stupidity from finding a way to mess things up.

I agree 100%. Thus, our implementation of a system that allows for the cautious and educated town to remain relatively protected while leaving plenty of tear-streams available to ignorant towns.

There you go again Claeyt posting a book about things you say you know happened but it always ends with you asking questions.

Let's just be glad that John and his team are fixing things!
