Except the fact that whenever an attacker gets KO'd he'd be stuck on a Vclaim or Pclaim aka dies with quite a certainty.

risk of attack vs defense, this has been the case since day one.

Indeed, The attackers/raiders in Salem will always be at a disadvantage when presented with active defenders. Nothing makes me happier than to see this become more of a reality.

I can only imagine what 17 Darwoths would look like in Salem. And expect all of you to thank me that the mechanics are indeed balanced in this way if it ever happens. I see no fun in having your position swarmed by a dozen people and then knowing with some certainty that there is nothing you can do about it. There is a bit of beauty to the way it works if you look for it.

Once upon a time, 17 or so raiders vs 1 defender would totally wreck the base in a matter of minuits even with hundreds of braziers and leave nothing but walls and waste in their wake. Quite literally.

I do not need to tell you this though.

Logging out alts with dozens of mats in strategic positions (as long as they have a leanto and can indeed log out) is also completely fine and I have no issues with it.

I see, we indeed have different points of view on those issues.

Yes, this has always been the way, now more than ever.

If you actually think that both of these mechanics are intended then are you going to remove the TBF teleportation back to the way it used to be ?

Once the commoners start to realise it, it has very little usage anyway.

The TBF teleportation mechanic is to stop people from getting materials 'out' of their town. Not as much to prevent them from bringing mats "in". The only issue is the cost-less teleportation of placing, which I do indeed intend to fix. Otherwise if people are willing to spend 40BB per item to siphon it out of their town without simply walking it out... .good for them.

Thats fair, i personally never saw that as an issue. There were other ways to get materials in there, the only thing I disagree with is the randsom feature. As always we agree to disagree.

I'd say it was a brave attempt of them, we personally woudn't do it. In the end they still managed to murder a 1200 scalp alt of Darwoth. Not a defeat nor victory I'd say.

I don't agree with this. A dead body still takes up a lot of space on the ground. During a tense battle, I think it is more than fair to assume that you could trip over, or step wrong on a body lying near your fight, which could in turn throw off your focus or limit your fancy footwork.
