The point I am making is not that a player should be allowed to "win" or otherwise get ahold of everything in game if they hermit. Trading is fine. my point is that casual gamers should not be forced to become hard core. As a casual gamer myself, I hermit because I don't want to take advantage of my townmates. Wth some of the new mechanics, I feel even more like I am exploiting the work of others. I cannot pay them back either in silver or in complementary efforts, because I simply don't have the time to devote to the game.
