Im putting in my share, but damn.. when you wait days on boards and then see that noone added once since your last one.. it really discourages you.

I do wish I could just make my own floating barn.

An ark on Providence to send to popham would probably be done by now.

In my opinion that's the real problem. Everybody in this thread agrees to say that it's not "so hard" to make the Ark (several weeks to make approximatively 5000-6000 board for each interested player) , but dry boards is a long / boring / not fun part of the game , and for me husbandry is absolutly not worth it at the moment.

Personally I would have preferred a personal solution : either an individual Ark or a maximum number of animal weighted by the amount of work done on the Ark.

Ark could be simple to fix.

dedicate 100 animal spots, register all players that donate items, Each % donated gives you one spot in the Ark, (Suggested this some time ago)

So if you contribute 1% of the materials, you get 1 spot, if you contribute 50%, you get 50 spots.

Spots on the Ark should not be unlimited to everyone, and only given to those who helped build it.

Sadly im sure this kind of coding does not exist and could never be done.

Actually, the server logs pretty much every action in the game.

Then why not make an incentive like this for people to complete the ark ? and help drive the game forward ?

Try to stay clear of the "sandbox" reason please.

Actually people in popham are just being smart if they already finished the ark devs would just make another stage of construction that takes 10 times more materials ;)

Well Salem has always and surely seems like it will be nothing else than a troll game.

It sad, i had such mega high hopes for salem years ago in its alpha stages, when i watched the old paradox vids.

If you guys want to drive and push the game forward, you need to do more than just release content and fun for the very few. On the otherhand, you have said many times, you care nothing for player numbers, just as long as you build the game you want.
