First kill:

Me and 2 friends went looking for people to kill, found a player carrying a bear over their head. I stomped them and they put the bear down and started running back to their town. Not wanting to let them escape but being right outside their town I followed them inside and had the gates closed on me. After I was trapped inside the town the prey got gutsy and started to fight back. They were ko'd and murdered, luckily they had made a design mistake and I was able to free my character by splashing with another character. The town is still around today from Jamestown.

First death:
After a week of playing had a stone walled, brazier covered base. I went to answer the door while inside, came back and was raided and killed in the 15 minutes or so I was afk.

first death happened for me before my first kill
there was this new providence we could go to, i didnt to see where the towns limit was, i was walking around with my 1k scalp main to visit the new town and ran off limit, a second after methazulah ko'ed me, but my body was stucked in a berrybush so goodman took a shovel to dig it up and then they killed me. it was the only character i had back then and since it also held my keys i lost my base as well, so i started from scatch all over again after a couple weeks on salem. i didnt wna quit coz i loved the game instantly from the first minutes i started playing

first kill was by summoning the guy to his leanto using larceny scents after breaking trhough his base, tbc didnt exist back then. i felt really happy about it as i didnt like him

First Kill:The FULL story with every detail I remember..........I don't remember any of my kills on Jamestown nor do I remember who landed the killing blow but I consider this a group kill so I will use it was my "first kill"
Meth,AmmaBoss and I were out looking for players to kill and found a player carrying a bear so we rushed at her and she dropped the bear and started to run ( can't remember how exactly but she got bitten from a snake aswell). Meth and I chased her into her base (She had a tree wall and a few gates as an outer layer) She then ran into the inner walls and took an antidote+ regenerated her biles....a few minutes later she came outside and while we thought she was coming to PvP she had other intentions...she ran straight towards her door which she had left open and locked us inside but before she could have made it back into her inner walls we ko'd and murdered her. AmmaBoss who was still Outside of the tree wall came up with the idea to splash damage her walls to get us out and Meth also bought a 2nd character to help with the task.

Fun Facts: The person we killed that day currently plays salem with the exact town name and character name
I met her a few days later and we chatted an entire week around that same time (she never allowed me to kin her tho, and still doesn't )
I could still remember my brother shouting to me that she was gonna lock the door with us inside
This is one of my best adventures in salem (maybe because it was my first taste of the adrenaline)


First Death: It was the first day I began playing salem(Way back on Jamestown) and after about 1 hour of adventuring the world that was new to me and I came across an abandoned base with a makeshift fence and a hovel. I entered the hovel and scavenged for whatever resources I could have located and then exited the house. After exiting the hovel I looked across the river only to see a mad man running towards me while holding a sword in his hand.....1 minute later i was on the ground ko'd begging for my life but sadly my begging was not enough... RIP w/e your name was
Note: I died 2 more times that day (People would have normally quit salem by then)
This is probably the reason I am so aggressive in-game and chose the life of crime

Edit: During the time we were stuck in her base she logged on another character which i believe was stronger but didn't attempt to fight us...in our chats after the event she told me that she was waiting for other people to come help her

Nope I never got the name of the "mad man" but after playing the for a while and figured out the Political landscape of the game I started assuming it was either Darwoth or The Jamestown Pirate......now if I had to assume it was someone I wouldn't think it is either of them tho...probably some random person
and idk if it was him that kill me the other 2 times but I walked the in same direction all 3 times so it is possible

First death was Tribe who found me under nefarious means seemingly... whatever... but I wouldn't give them time of day... and I recall having issues with coal bins...

Second death was at the hands of a 'friend'/town mate... one of Embie's... whom I trusted absolutely...who gave raiders rights and access to my town to kill and wipe me out w/o a Trial by Fire. (Hence my serious hatred of her and anything related to her)

No... honestly can't remember. I likely have some maps around... but Helm's Deep was Embie's old town before it became Shadow of Darworth. I had an alt watching that town... and when I returned to the game... I was ""inside"" the new Darworth town.

You know he only 'claims' the border and a few areas?

Most of it remains wide open for alts and such... which I have enjoyed... have to say!

Before Witchcraft... exploring/building a town in the dark was a right of passage of sorts... that everyone ventures toward at some point...when they have died and decided to keep venturing on.

Today you have to be Witch derivative to enjoy it... seemingly. Whatever.

My biggest issue today is convincing myself to keep playing. Black Desert is Live, Star Citizen is getting closer, etc... graphics and game play keep evolving... Occulus anyone?... And Salem?

When was that big update due to happen?... are we not over the 60 days plus at the moment?

Oh- it was Real Life... but then when you have a single Dev... what if he croaked tomorrow (not wishing at all)?... how long would it take another to step up and/or the game sold off, etc... years likely...

Indie type sandboxes are dime a dozen now... Salem was the poor cousin... now it's grandpa... what will it be in a few years... no worth mentioning?... Likely...
