Has 7 posts on the forum, all in his own thread about being killed by a WishPoosh...

I guess we really need to have a message for those people before logging in "Have you read the forum/patchnotes in the last couple days"

if people say no, they can't log in...

or in-client patchnotes like latikai's

Would the same people that don't read the patch notes on the forums read them in the cilent?

I do not like the fact that they can kill you. It's too harsh. Another character, ok I get it but not a creature. It's taking the fun of hunting them out of it.

Then don't hunt them.

Darkness creatures are meant to be feared, not harvested.

Merged two threads about the same thing, and moved to HoB as this is not a bug.

They should have read it but 2 things I'd like to bring up. 1 she's talking about the server or client crashing while she was engaged in combat. This sounds exactly like a bug or crash based on the new animations that you were talking about. Maybe it's worth giving her a break if the new animal crashed her client or bugged out.

2nd, how hard would it be to give away really, really important patch notes to everyone via the in-game mail system. Like you could put down. Wishpooshes can kill you. There are now Witches so watch out for curses. You can cure curses with the priest at the church in Providence. Important stuff like that is kind of hard to dig out of the forums sometimes.

I hope your character wasn't 2 high. Good Luck. It's easier the second time around.

The character died BEFORE the server crashed. Just FYI.

I understand the frustration. The few and far between moments when I've been in combat with a bear or argopelter and have gotten disconnected really sting. It hurts even though you only get knocked out. Furthermore, 2 argopelters are worth as much as a wishpoosh hide. At the present there's just no way I'd go hunting for them. The odds of losing the connection is really small but even so the risk is too great.
Not that I know how you'd go about fixing that issue. I'm just saying that the risk outweighs the rewards if you might lose you character in such an unfair and anti-climatic way.

K, understood.

What about the in-game important messages? Good Idea? People like us forget that the vast majority of the players and future players aren't going to be reading every post in the forums like us.
