Most new players don't read the forums. They have no idea that the treaty exists. All they know is that 3 players dressed like that just came up and wiped their base that they've been learning the game at for a month and then killed them for no apparent reason. They will then quit in frustration.

There's better ways to troll. Force them to collect 100 crabs. Make them chop 100 trees at your base for you. Make them gather hay for you. But keep them playing the game.

You clearly are out of touch with this game. Death does not make people leave. Talking to you however does.

WHY?!

Why put a poor innocent noob squatter through so much pain and torture? It is the way of all things that are good:

Send them back to the "Man in the Hat". Whether this is Jorb, or some NPC in Character Creation, is the true mystery of Salem. ¦]

Why in the hell would you guys post a shot of you you guys killing a noob with a stone axe?

I'm almost embarrassed for you guys because of that pic.

That was me. So they can at least have credit that it was not an alt. But I am a casual player. I don't have more than about 10 hours per week to play games. I have a full time job and two businesses to run. I didn't have much for defenses. No brazier. No torchpost. No mine yet. There was one near me but claimed by someone else. I had a stone wall, but too small as they still stomped me through it to KO me and then still broke the gate anyway. I came back to the game after a long time away. I gave it a shot. I do feel the game has improved. But the game still seems to be no place for a casual player. I will play something else for awhile. I might return. I might not.

Do you think that players like this, that enjoy killing casual noob camps like yours, with no defense and nothing in it, are hurting the game's population?

Yet they should. If a person joins an open pvp permadeath game without getting some insight first, odds are they won't stick for long.
It doen't take much thinking to figure out, that you should be vary of your surroundings in a game like that.
Aside from tribe, there are people, who just kill everyone in sight without posting it on forums.
So tribe or not, I believe, that dying with current braizier mechanics is your own fault.

Wouldn't you be able to answer this yourself since you have most likely died more then anyone else on this game? ¦]

Hey guys the game was made with perma death that people willfully signed up for. Lets ignore this prime feature so noobs who don't read the forums and never contribute will stay a week extra.
