It does sometimes seem like JC makes up the rules as he goes along. To use his own sports analogy, a ref might make a bad call but there are still clear and written rules to the game.

He used to fight said rules back in the day as the Chief. God I miss him.

Indeed, I actually like getting involved with the ideas anyways since I actually play the game again :P the past few months have shown me that the game finally has a developer who cares enough to make updates and not only post spoilers but respond to everyone on the forums even for stupid things like this, that's why I'm playing again. That and I'm sure Biddas gets lonely without me there in Boston to annoy the **** out of him ;)

I can only assume this was your question. There have been over 2,000 new players as well as server populations that are easily double what they were when we took over. I don't expect that we are bringing in new players, I know we are bringing in new players. This is all without a shred of marketing as I still consider the game very unfinished.

Lol! 2000 more alts

I think someone deserves a new hat.

It would be interesting to see the information that we used to get with the "server status"

We were around 250 Simultaneous users last weekend. Was a population record since we took over.

I will admit that it does seem like there are more players around. Have seen a numerous players around my base in the past few months when before I never did.

I wonder how much were seeing past players returning vs a higher retention rate of the new players and or a higher rate of new players coming in. Lots of folks I talk to are like me, giving the game another go because development is active again and that is always better then no development.

P.S. This whole thread needed a better exposition with screen shots of this building everyone's been talking about getting smashed, the hapless guy in it KO'ed on the ground, the loot pics, the chest thumping. I want a proper raid thread before we go into all the ***** about if it is or is not a bug and all that stuff, I feel robbed here of the proper drama I am due, hell I feel robbed every single day at the patheticness of the HoB section of the forum, H&H had so much better forum drama.
