Found your place after an hour or so of hitting random p-claims. Saw one of you inside the base, so I checked around the base to see if there were any ways I could get in. Saw an open gate and multiple leantos outside the walls and off claim. Seeing as how the leantos were filled with store items, I took action and attempted to destroy the p-claim. To my surprise it was unpaid. I quickly claimed over your leantos and house and it just got better from there

Thank you for this. It has encouraged me to continue playing and reap the rewards of those dumb enough to have invested a lot of money into the store, but none into their base. May this also be a warning to those pilgrims who believe raiding is dead, or not worth it anymore and have decided to make stupid decisions because of it. It might just come back and bite.
Also sorry for somewhat bad screenshots. Was in a hurry as they were recently online :)

Not at all, many people are aware of the Kristian Tithe and if they are not then that is not my problem but theirs. If people wish to claim a piece of land within the Kristian lands they very much owe us. I think its clear that we rather do not have an excuse not to murder people. But our policy is sadly quite friendly in many of those cases.

If that's the case, a better method would be to let them cough up some dough without allowing them to leave. But what do I know, I haven't gotten powerful enough yet to opress small communities.
Also, care to give a map of KKK control territory?

Last I hear this link showed a map of all KKK claimed territories. http://www.mortalmoments.com/salem/provmap.png

We'll see what they can actually manage in practice.

They could also do with a little more class and substance to their racket, really.
It's just so shabby and superficial.

I am amused at times, but not as ENTERTAINED as I could be if they had more flair in general, with how they post about stuff.

So very true. They are trying to imitate the tribe, I think? But doing a laughably poor job of it. The tithe is a joke, as it is unadvertised and often the people they demand it of have already lost their worldly goods, so it is more of a torture device than anything. :/ Not good drama.

Well, good luck finding a new home, guys. When you do, remember that the absolute first thing you should do is put down a claim stone, expand it just enough to contain your leantos and most valuable possessions, and build a Split Rail wall. You should be able to add a few torchposts fairly quickly as well. That will make you safe against most. I suggest split rail rather than stone because you'll want a much bigger claim and will probably knock down the split rail after a few days. Much easier to remove than a stone wall. The owner of the claim should do it, as he can destroy structures on his own claim with no soak. Remember to lock your gates.

lol

I have heard mention of this tithe in a couple of threads but this is the first time I have seen any mention of the collection of it. Is there a set price or is it just a case of whatever you feel you can force off someone due to the size of their poorly defended base?

Yeah the retards tried to make me pay 5000 silver after they destroyed my town and style all of my stuff. I told them to stuff it. It's a joke you can't blackmail someone after you took everything they possibly has to blackmail.

Hey I destroyed everything you have and stole all your stuff give me 5000 silver I promise I won't do it again.

What a retarded joke.

The Tithe remains voluntary and we have not had the need to advertise it yet.

On a side note, It currently is not fully implemented yet, moreover used as a bribe in this specific situation. Bear in mind that the bloodthirsty tribe never would had given such an oppertunity in the first case.

Currently conditions for some towns looks as follows:

We do not wish to bound ourselves to any rules or conditions yet in a larger scales untill full implementation and thoughts of it. We (sadly) still have Salem on a very low pit in terms of activity, therefore I do not expect any changes or releases soon.
Our intentions never has been to cause drama in any way and we are not in need of any form of justification for our causes. Adding it all up, it very much differs from anything previously.

These specific people were thrown a life-line and they refused (insulted), fair enough but they must realise that it will have consequences for my decision to either let them live or die.

No one who has been around a couple months would give you their location. You would have to build a trustworthy persona and so far as long as I have seen your posts you lack the decency that is inherent in most human beings to be able too.
