No worries from me. TS just don't seem to want to work with my connection (mobile broadband stick). Thought I would give it a shot as I had not tried TS for a while and I had not been having any issues with Google+ or skype. TS DCed me three times before I gave up. I'm not sure why you would think I'd want to just log on to see who is online (isn't that what kin lists are for?) as I really don't know too many people all that well. Ho-hum.

Aye, its a problem i have had to deal with for years due to my dependency on a mobile broadband stick for my internet. Skype is OK for text chatting but if the voice is on for much longer then 30seconds my connection seems to panic and DC. Google+ and Raid call seem to be the most stable for me but Im limited on the amount of data I can use per month anyway so I don't often use them. Feb is a short month though so I've had a little extra data to burn (even got to watch a few more youtube vids) so I thought I would pop by as one of my village mates said there were a few people in earlier today and I do love to chat to people around the world.
Partner's away this weekend at a torny so its just me, the cat, chickens and dogs and as much as i love them they are not really that good at holding conversations

Anyway I wish you the best of luck, there really do need to be more places for people to meet up and chat within Salem. It can be a lonely life for many and its always nice to have a natter while farming or cooking.

I had never heard of discord, googled it up so i will give that one a go when I have chance. Hopefully I will have everything sorted once I have a house to live in this year. We both agree that after the bed the next thing that is important is a fast and stable internet connection

I'll look at Discord... is it anything like Mumble...

I have used Mumble.

I'm not deliberately rude; but I have NO confidence in my fellow player on Salem. That said I'm willing to entertain I'm not using a medium everyone can enjoy which is part of what I was going for.

More after I've done some research/testing.

Might be a month before I can lease something else.

I don't have as much experience with it as I do with vent,ts,mumble and skype but I was able to use it the other night while playing with random league of legos guys. I was really impressed with it from what little i saw of it.
