And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death.
Distrust, hatred and impatience has led to a great tragedy. When the reason has failed, mutual respect has been broken, and egos outgrew the pants restraining them, a lethal blow has been struck against Simon in a great rage by his fellow townmate. The details are trivial and pointless; the reasons, as always - purely human ones. We began this journey as pilgrims of light, but the darkness has seeped into our hearts and made us raise our hand against fellow pilgrim. For this we have failed and our names will forever be stained with this shame. Unfortunatelly our errors cannot be fixed - the lost life cannot be returned. With this knowledge in our hearts we must do all we can to never let this happen again.
Matthew 5:21-26
You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison.
A crypt has been erected as an eternal resting place for Simon and as a reminder of the foul act, so that it is never forgotten. So that it will serve as a warning to all those who keep hatred in their hearts. So that it never happens again.
May his spirit find peace and is not tormented anymore, and may we find forgivenes.

Romans 12:19
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
