It's just a joke. I, for one, am glad the new devs have a trollish sense of humor. It means Salem is less likely to change the parts that make it great.

The only problem I have with this thread is that the real news is on the third page, but surely almost everyone will read that far.

actually had me going for quite some length of the post and now I feel really stupid.

however that talk about biles being unintuiative (dsyslexcia), reminded me of this thread which was hilariously locked and ignored

basically they change biles from colour matching clockwise, to anticlockwise with colour mismatch.

obviously intentional since the jorbtar's main source of nourishment was new player tears, but maybe you new overlords have something else in mind.

A couple of these I can see as somewhat reasonable. I'm not too fond of renaming blood and black bile as it breaks with the alchemical view of the world and would rather see these things in a tool tip. Why not rename yellow bile and phlegm as well as those aren't all that obvious, either.

Some of these, though... All I feel like doing is rolling my eyes. People need to quit copying the crap on the market and make something new and exciting. (I'm referring to the oversized weaponry as one of more than a few examples. I think the particle effects will be good for enchanted/cursed weapons.)

I just want to be able to take ingame *****. I want to have to build an outhouse, then be required to use it frequently enough to avoid my character spontaneously combusting.

What would this mean for the new players just off the boat who don't have the outhouseology skill yet?
