if the game is now based in the united states and is given a pg rating or higher i do not see any situation where profanity in images could lead to legal issues at all, otherwise every multi billion dollar game company would be in an endless mire of lawsuits since their forums are often covered in such.

half of the new releases coming out have sexualized topics in them along with a healthy dose of characters letting everyone know the myriad of ways they can go ***** themselves after eating a nice big *****.


severely limiting half of the image macros posted here so that the nonexistent 12 year old portion of the playerbase (who are no strangers to "obscenities" anyway) does not seem like a good idea to me, but if that is the direction then cant we at least have one subforum with an age restriction that is unmoderated where we can sling **** at one another unharassed?

Please look at the Forum Rules for a new rule:

§2.14. Do not post images containing profanity. These forums contain an optional profanity filter. Because of this, some profanity is allowed in posting, but not in any images posted to this site, as images cannot be filtered.

I had hoped the profanity filter would have a little to no impact on those who don't care about profanity, but this rule is necessary because it legally has to be optional both for those who would rather see it and those who wouldn't.

what about if we use "fornicate" instead of "*****" and "feces" for "****" instead etc?

if the new forum rules are so retarded that i cant post ***** you claeyt pictures anymore that is a tragedy, if i am unable to even post a modified fornicate you claeyt picture that is just plain racist.

at least give us an unmoderated adult forum if you are going to do this crap, could make it so your account can not see the forum until it has purchased something in game via credit card for age verification, if this is good enough for porn sites to stay out of legal issues it would surely be enough for salem.
