Game Development: Waterworld

Postby jorb » Thu Aug 29, 2013 2:21 am

We've been idling for a while, and here's something that's happened to occur.

There's now far nicer water, and an option to turn it off in the graphics settings (update clients).

Wells can be destroyed.
Snakes now offer to end fight relations after some pursuit.

Also, you can now change the camera using the following console commands

:cam sucky
:cam follow
:cam ortho

Enjoy! Wish you were here!

Holy crap that naked man in boston said he humping the statue to get us a update. the crazy naked man did WTF.
“In a room sit three great men, a king, a priest, and a rich man with his gold. Between them stands a sellsword, a little man of common birth and no great mind. Each of the great ones bids him slay the other two. So tell me—who lives and who dies?”

I hope the water is not too sexy, because I'll have to drown myself at least once in it to bathe in it's sexiness :)

It truly is great to see an update, but is there any news on the gluttony rework? Or if we can expect more frequent updates?

Update seems to have broken the default client(at least for me), but Ender's still works so its better than the pockets update.

Honestly, you could have added a single one of these things and I would have just been happy to know that you guys are still adding to the game. Little updates make me cry with happiness and joy.    :D

2 little things:

Can you nuke that damn sled stuck in the barrels in Roanoke's square?

Are there plans for any free style camera option and are the camera views going to placed in the options menu eventually instead of as consul commands?

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.
