We've been developing, and here's what's new.

There is now a system for maintaining and transferring crafting buffs, thus:

Waxing Toadstools are now slightly poisonous.
Some Waxing Toadstools are actually Waning Toadstools. Higher values in Hunting & Gathering will make them easier to tell apart (Random on pickup).
Waning Toadstools are more poisonous than Waxing Toadstools.
Witch's 'Shrooms are also poisonous, more so than both Waxing and Waning Toadstools.
'Shroom Poisoning temporarily reduces the maximum cap on your Humours while the debuff is present.
'Shroom Poisoning disappears of itself over time, although it takes a while. Notice that it ticks away when you are offline as well.
There is a new Berrymash Laxative which significantly increases the speed at which 'Shroom Poisoning disappears.

You can remove the poison from mushrooms by boiling them in a Pot or a Cauldron.
Craft or buy a pot in Boston, and suspend it over a Fireplace by holding it and Right-Clicking the Fireplace.
Once placed, Right-Click the now suspended pot to open its inventory.

Things crafted from unboiled mushrooms will be as poisonous as the mushrooms themselves are natively. The property of being poisonous is thus inherited through crafting steps.

(In the future this system will be used to differentiate between, for example, cabbage rolls made from white cabbage and cabbage rolls made from colewort, and the like.)

Mushrooms picked before this update will remain non-toxic.

The Alchemy Table has new graphics.
There is a new Alchemy skill.

'Follow' command now less 'sploitable.

There should be a new Alchemy pack introduced in the store before the week is out.

It's about damn time! :P

But looks like wandering the woods is not gonna be so easy anymore as I cannot spam raw mushrooms anymore :cry:

They didn't add a use for it. They just made the cauldron necessary by adding an extra pointless step to something that could have been done with no cauldron before. It's not like the cauldron gives you new abilities that you didn't have before the update.

You completely missed the point. I'm disagreeing with the notion that this update somehow 'adds' a use to the cauldron. It's like being happy about getting your legs broken because it adds a use to those crutches you had in the closet.

So.. Can you eat craptons of poisonous mushrooms to get your max humours down, and then start gluttoning using the lower max values?
If so, the 300+ bile chars can start gluttoning again. Just eat a few 100 poisonous mushrooms first.

Also, as said before, seems like some barebone mechanics are put in place here that I can see having a lot of uses with more content.
+1 for the follow tracking fix, if it really prevents it.
Did Claeyt shut up yet?
WARNING: berrymash laxatives can cause your character to explode violently, after eating chymically unstable foods.
