I have no idea why, but on chrome (after disabling stylish) the forum keeps losing its style. All the background disappears and I'm back to a pure white background with grey boxes (still better than the old colours I guess).

I think this is due to the retardedly big size on the background, it being close to 1mb. We've downsized this to ~95kb and are updating it ASAP. The site is very heavy to load right now.

for some reason, the top bar stays like this and dont have 4 buttons like Moo showed before.
cleared cashe, been f5-ing uncountable times already.

is it just stupid IE?

nvm... i relogged in from Account Information, checked the silver store and clicked "forum" from store page, and now i have all 4 buttons. not sure which action did it, though.
