Everything except this quoted portion is great:

Unless you have managed to slip in a fix for spawning players in areas players cannot move from.
My main, for example, was ported onto a cliff that was 6 or 7 blocks tall, maybe 7 by 6 tiles wide, and surrounded by even more tall cliffs. =/

sounds like one of my exploring alts lean-to's..

If it's by a humour level I could see people staying below a certain humour cap in order to learn their skills much quicker
