Game Development: Gobble, gobble

Announcements of major changes to Salem.

As far as I am aware, there are updates every Friday. Some are 'big' updates, where they add in new content or adjust old content. Some are updates that the players don't really notice, because they are behind the scenes updates, fixing bugs or setting the scene for major updates that are coming.

Nope, but your actual CM is busy doing this.

Also. Moving apartments and doing my best to keep up with the forum

Jorbtar like to be secretive with their work, but I guess they'll release something soon-ish since they have been quiet for a while ;)
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

But serious, are they really playing GW2? I mean, it's fine if they still work on Salem alot and use that to take a break, but I'd find it weird and stupid of them if they play GW2 more than working on Salem..
Anyways, it's their choice, but I'd like to see development and becoming open beta soon (and I think most of you guys too, especially the development part).

Ignore the trolls....

I honestly can't tell you what they're doing every day, but the current milestone for getting Salem into open beta is a big one. From what little I've worked on games, it's not an easy one, either. On the big titles, you have a team (or three) working on this backend stuff while you have some teams working on content development. Instead what we have is two guys working on it.
I am a moderator. I moderate stuff. When I do, I write in this color.

I can imagine that it's hard to accomplish this with only 2 guys. But it can be done! Watch Notch :P
