game disparity between gaggles of ***** in numbers and everyone else just got significantly wider, i would say im surprised but i am of course not as that has been the "christmas miracle" everytime the devs become active again for several years going and is now entrenched in the games comedy.

Yes I saw that something went wrong where my footprints are persisting on the water. I will try to get it fixed in next mini-patch. It was my intention that you woudl try to find the nearest shallow water to cause people to 'lose your trail'. It was working on the test server for a bit but seems to have reverted somewhere around there.
