there is option on the trade orders to take. I assume that means take out the contents. so remove the leeches and wait for the updated one.

Afaik it doesn't work. Maybe it was intended this way, but then devs never came through with it, because that would make some orders rules breaking containers.
Like the one with ice shards or fruits or 50 branches.

Indeed that would enable people to preserve things that would otherwise perish. Never tried it honestly just saw the take option and thought it was viable.

Maybe if there was 2 ways of putting things into the orders?
A temp way where the item weight is put into the order itself, so you dont really gain any weight reduction, and items with a duration can still spoil this way, but you can take things out.
A perm way which pretty much is what they are now, the weight is gone, and items with duration just stop ticking, but you can no longer remove them from the order.
Both would be turn-in-able, and offering diffrent pros/cons.
But that´s just my thought while i was waiting for server to come back up :lol:
