That has nothing to do with time period. The period we assume the game to be in is the colonial period around 1600 to 1750, with no specific year.

Well the point was that i'm not sure what exactly JC broke in the first place. That's why I was testing without. my 10/15 smelter yielded 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1. The 15/10 smelter derped up a bit and went 1/1/1/2/1/1/2 o.O

1-2 bars ? ouh... dispoint :(
2 - 3 was fine ...

so if i'm gonna get 1 bar either way why do i need to put lime in the Ore Smelter less work for me i won't need to go and get lime anymore every time im smelting i will just fill it with Iron Ore
i tryed today no i still need lime :( ¦]

date has to be 1645 to 1750 meow as the redcoat was not addopted as british field dress until the new model army in feb 1645 and we have them.

She said 1600 which, in case you didn't know happened 45 years before 1645.

She said the general time frame was 1600-1750, he said it has to be 1645-1750 due to the redcoat, you said it could still be between 1600-1750. Yep, makes sense what you just replied with. I'm sure Meow doesn't give two ***** with these technicalities though as some people seem to give ***** about in this thread.

i hate lore nerds, there is also a flaying saucer, football jerseys and a trump hat in game.

the time period is nothing more than a rough outline with license and liberties taken in the interest of gameplay.

stfu and stop caring so much.

Yeah, and the piano wasn't invented until 1709. Anything that originated or was contemporary in that 150 year time span can be in Salem. Trying to narrow the time frame by looking at things like the Redcoat uniform won't get you anywhere as you will also find quotes in the skill tree from just before 1750, but you won't find any reference to steam engines or electricity and there is a firm belief in the four humors and alchemy.

I apologize but I thought Salem was set in the years 4000-4150 after humans had destroyed the earth, reverted to a primitive state and re-established civilization.

You're thinking about Age of Decadence in that case.
