Yes just let us store meat in the igloos we make ¦]

That... might actually be how it works. Think about it, dragging ice blocks out of the mountains to build some kind of temporary structure that would stop the spoilage counter from ticking down while your meat is inside it? If it isn't an event you can find, I can imagine it being something like that.

Patch 1.2.2

Postby AFullCodpiece » Wed Mar 30, 2016 6:02 pm

I think you need to seriously reconsider this patch as it is going to create an even larger unbalance in the game.
In principle, let me say I DO like the idea and appreciate the devs efforts to add new content and keep up excitement in the game.
But the ability to craft and drive an Isuzu Hombre around the world of Salem is going to cause too many problems. How you thought about how it will affect raiding (ramming walls, running over enemies, etc.)? Will it change hunting mechanics? Will some versions have 4-wheel drive? I think there may even be some historical issues as, to my knowledge, the first Isuzu Hombre wasn't even make until 1827. Maybe put this idea on the back burner for a bit or get more player feedback before you implement it. Just my two cents.

Many thanks,

Surely smoked meat wont spoil, right? You know that was the purpose of smoking meat, to preserve it for a long time, enough to last the winter.

Also allow mines and basements to preserve meat. The deeper down you mine the colder it is, and therefore the longer the meat is preserved?

If you're going to nerf the entire meat food group by making it spoilable, at least buff the gluttony you get from it.

Maybe a new spoiler picture to keep some of us "excited" for the update? *hint hint*

I did/am doing just that. Everytime I get a stockpile of unused meat going, I panic and eat it all. Especially feasts. I had one ready for a friend, but he hasn't been able to log in for awhile, I got nervous and devoured his feast.

Usually when I have a panic attack, I also eat all the ham in my fridge.

It's tax season here, and the financial end of the year. Things are going to be a bit delayed.
