It seems to make the most sense to re balance the raiding systems (and the new witchcraft systems) in the lull between expeditions. That being said, I think raiding in Popham is proving to be very balanced and if you are holding your breathe for a friendly and balanced raiding environment on Providence I would suggest not to do so. The more we get into it the more we really don't feel like competitive and balanced raiding need exist on providence at all I.E. having providence in a bubble where players need not check it that often because the loss of a base is not frequent or reasonably quick. There is a server for great conflict, and a server for occasional conflict. If you have suggestions why Popham raiding is unbalanced we are all ears though.

are there exploration events seeded when the server restarts ? Or is there no use looking for them until season change?

also: i'm kinda sad that knives don't go in gadget belts.

I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Players may now put ore in stock bins.
Players may now move empty stock bins.

Coooool!!!

New Creature: Spermwhale
Spermwhales will migrate based on the season they are in.
Spermwhales can eat a player. Players who spend approx. 1 RL week inside a Spermwhale will die to permadeath.
Players who KO inside a Spermwhale will permadie.
NOTE: This patch is dropping with his Animations bugged. Marp promises me that we will have fixed animations soon. So yes he looks silly right now when he swims and we plan on having that fix’d soon.

Can i fell "Pinocchio" ? can i run from belly/stomach ? :P
nice:D

Pistols now do an average of 15% damage. up from 5%.
Rifles now do an average of 35% damage. Up from 25%.
Players may no longer fire guns while mounted.
Guns now no longer do % based damage to animals.

Rifles not deal 25% dmg based blood ? or only Guns ?
and 25% -> 35% ? ;O

Butchering Animals with your bare hands now adds insanity.

good know :)

5 new expeditions??? You don't think these are going to involve cannon barrages and Mortar fights??? I bet there will be tons of raiding in them.

Exploration events are 'seeded' when a Season changes. Right now since there have never been any events ALL tiles will be considered virgin tiles for this sytem. As people begin exploring tiles this season they will then "Dud" themselves out. I>e as you explore the server determines if an event lives on that tile, OR if no event lives there. So for the most part, Events are far more likely to be found on tiles that have never been traveled in THAT particular season than tiles that have.

Knives in gadget belts could be explored. I still it might be better to just allow weapons in toolbelts though and then make some kind of fix so they will not auto-equip when trying to make an attack? That issue has gone on far too long and should probably be prioritized in a minipatch soon.
