Trust Me, I'm a Professional

Now that we are again in the swing of development, we'll be working on adjusting/adding content to the Professions. And so we took some time yesterday to go over your applications and we've decided who should be in each rank to start. Just as a recap, here are some quotes from the original thread:
I don't know if we'll do any in-game rewards, but for those of you who work hard at this, I'm sure we can do a little something here and there.
We've decided to help you out here with various assignments, though general ideas are always welcome too. We'll ask a question regarding something in the early game of the profession or the middle or late game, or something about the inspirationals you need to advance in that area, etc, and you will be expected to return an answer within a month. Anyone who does not complete their assignment for their profession can be ousted by someone who will. We will be doing this rather than the six month evaluation I mentioned previously.
So, our new Professionals will be:
Master Artisan - Arts & Crafts: jakhollin
Executioner - Cloak & Dagger: Darwoth
Cardinal of the Colonies - Faith & Wisdom: Bjebr
Nature Lover - Flora & Fauna: Lusewing
Master Carpenter - Hammer & Nail:
The Greenest Thumb - Herbs & Sprouts: Taipion
Child of Esau - Hunting & Hideworking: Tulgarath
Master Trader - Law & Lore: Heffernan
Plymouth Rock - Mines & Mountains: Irving
Firestarter - Sparks & Embers: gorniksam
Master Farmer - Stocks & Cultivars:
Renowned Chef - Sugar & Spice:
Master Tailor - Thread & Needle: Ntlosa
Master Alchemist - Natural Philosophy: thedarklore
Coven Leader - Perennial Philosophy: er-queent8r
Congratulations!
Notice that two of the professions are blank. Despite the long time available to apply, and the fierce competition for some of the professions, some were very neglected, with only 1 or 0 applicants. I take this as a sign that we need to improve in those areas, and indeed some of them have little to nothing really going on in them right now. The last two positions are still available to be filled; I will be accepting applications to them again once we get the first question out. You'll need to answer that question as part of your application.
I will be adding our new members to their ranks and groups shortly; it may take a little while.
2/15/16 Edit: Month 1 was a great success! I have updated the above list with our new members and our new open positions. Please PM me if you want to apply.
Benefits include access to the 33 degrees forum where you will join those already there. You will also have the ear of the devs in your chosen profession more-so than most players. ... The position also comes with a beautiful blue name and an appropriate rank displayed beneath your username. You can also suggest a new name for your rank if you like.

You will be expected to have ideas about improving Tailoring if you are the Master Tailor, or improving Alchemy, if you are the Master Alchemist (Natural Philosophy). Obviously some of these positions will be more in need of good ideas than others, but they all need improvement, we think. This is your chance to improve the profession you love most in Salem.
