i remember beginning of 2015 when JC said he wouldd change the shop someday to better looking and to pick what rewards we like so noone gets 100s of capes any idea whats done on this?

Luckily nobody got 100 capes this quarter, so I didn't have to deal with it. If you want to make sure you get 100 capes next quarter I will certainly prioritize it.
