This is probably a fair assessment. Marp was going to look into possibly highlighting them. In our opinion it was an improvement from "No Animals" and those of you using custom radar files with lame little shapes and colors are still more than free to do so .

It's a great addition, looking forward for a bit of highlighting especially the cricket deer and rabbit images.

should try a mix between light and dark colors.... as there are light and dark biomes...

Would also be nice if animals were always on top of other icons. Just noticed a snake and could not see it on the map because a witches hat was larger than the icon.

i always have salems best interest at heart... my ideas just seem to clash with what is left of the games population....

i have suggested a way of layering the icons in the Latikai client before... at the time it seemed impossible... but i will check again.
