Can someone give me a tl;dr about this thread?

Is this mechanic real or a joke? I've lost a few boundary stones in my village and I'm not sure how.

why would something officially posted here be a joke? If you lost boundary stones and you had a WC on you then yes someone might of destroyed them.

I watched a stream as Heff broke a few stones with no WC...I'm assuming that means the Bell was not paid? ?

Yes, if your bell is not paid Authority objects are destroyable by others. Its a good way to check if a town is active or not.

He did once alt+tab briefly and had been KO'd by a rattlesnake when he came back. True story.

His stream is entertaining, though.
