Writing more than 1,000 characters should give you a system message to this effect.
Writing without any inspiration left in your pool should also trigger a message.
Not sure what would disable enter without a system error that is why I am a bit curious what horrible things you have done to your text box.

I had the same before when writing in notepad & trying to copy/paste
make sure everything is written on 1 line
