Hello Salemites,


After the resounding success and interest in the art contest, we decided to have another. Some of you may remember Wishy's trailer contest back in early 2013. Well, we would like to do so again in lieu of launch, this time hosted by us. So, to begin, the rules are as follows:

1) The trailer must be original for THIS contest.
2) One entry per person.
3) Trailer should be from ONE to THREE minutes in length.
4) Any scores/soundtracks/sound effects used in the video must be done by you/another (must include written permission from the artist if not you) OR one of our songs from our soundtrack. You can download the soundtrack at http://www.salemthegame.com/soundtrack.rar
4.5 ADDENDUM - Sources which clearly outline the use of material is usable in commercial projects without needing to have artist/source citation are permissible. Any trailers featuring music outside of our soundtrack will require sources. If the source is unverifiable or does not give the appropriate level of permissions, the submission will likely be disqualified.
5) You agree, upon submission, to release ownership of the video to Mortal Moments for us to use as we see fit.

Submissions must be received by May 19, 2015 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight), PST. Please upload to YouTube.com and either post the link or PM it to me. And, of course, the prizes will be

Second Place
- 5,000 silver
- Exclusive Secret Prize

Third Place
- 2,000 silver
- Exclusive Secret Prize

For the criteria, please attempt to embody the essence of Salem. The risk. The reward. The whimsical nonsense and the darker mysteries. Trekking forth into the vast unknown to seek fame or fortune! But please, avoid recordings of inappropriate language being used in-game.
