We looked at some fog attempts. Unfortunately it was drawing based on distance from camera and was not looking to hot so efforts were abandoned.

Are you guys going to keep the modding at the level it is now after release? Am curious how new players filled with teh bloodlust will survive the banhammer if verbal antagonism is often times so moderated and stunted.

as far as I am aware, no-one is banned based on vulgar language. People ARE banned for filter avoidance, and rightly so. Just turn your filter on if it bothers you (or maybe the default is on? idk - mine has always been off I think).
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I would say your skybox is sufficient for now. If you want some idea you can look at Stranded 2: the survivalist mod for idea. They have pretty good skybox. Also Minecraft and Wurm online (both have Notch involved) utilize the fog well.
You thought I quit.

I didn't see it posted anywhere else, sorry if it has been! In response to the things that could be changed for launch, I really like the changes done to the games main client, but I would suggest making the hotbar movable at the very least, if not make it so you can add a second or let it switch between a couple. But at the very least, please make either it or the chatting section movable so the chat doesn't have to cover the hotbar.

^ Default client doesn't need much to be perfect, 2 hotbars, transparent chat window, move-all objects combination (shift+alt click, ctr+alt click) And there is the most perfect client of all times

Now this is really sexy, a nice smooth seemless sight as you move around (The fog that is), it really is eye watering some times watching the map expand against the skybox, no matter how much nicer the skybox does make the game. I also get glitching around the edges of my screen with the sky box as well.
