Careful. If you break out the inductive reasoning on these people, the universe might implode.

This really is a nice thing. I can even tell where I live on the map!

you have 2 fixed points on the map!

providence and limers front!
that should give you enough opportunities to triangulate!

well if limers front is the square stokade to the left of providnce on the map all thats given me is a straight east line back into town
the two points from the sundile and providence cross but the one from the stockade is no ware near the intersection point so either theres a bug or the stockade is in the wrong place if however its the three standing stones its nearly right
elightament please

yeah, the "points" are not in correct size, yet on correct place.

what do you expect? a pointer with "you are here"?

no i expect three cardinal points to triangulate to a triangle at 10% of the angles of incidence to give me a probable area of search withing a smallish area from which extra points will narrow the target area to a smaller and smaller zone

You've been given a server-generated map which shows accurate darkness gradient and biomes, though admittedly the biome information is useful for the lakes and mountains and not so much for the others. And we've helpfully added some landmarks by hand. If you think the landmark pictures are off, you're probably reading the map wrong, but if you can prove they are off and pinpoint where they should be, you can PM John and ask him to move them. Maybe he'll do it. This forum ***** will get you nowhere though.
