Or JC could change the rules, because that one doesn't make a lot of sense.

Maybe something like "reaching 30 gobble points during a gluttony session spawns an item on the table you are using". And to avoid the problem of "locked tables", just add more of them.

Those who are butthurt by the unavailability of the golden goose can receive compensation by buying the Snakeoil potion that is as valuable as the goose.

Who cares about the goose?
This mini-event can be arranged better than what it is now.

Common, this can't possibly be a surprise to anyone that a couple Salem failures would figure out how to ***** the event in a matter of seconds, lol.

We just wanted something quick and unsupervised because we all wanted to spend time with families for a couple days. There will be something for everyone even if the goose tables don't work out.

I can confirm at least one player has gotten a Goose from the tables. To be perfectly honest I didn't expect any table to sit idle long enough for one to appear, however, a clever use of compost bins seemed to do the trick.
